CONWAY, Ark. – The University of Central Arkansas tennis program came home and swept a double header with the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns in two hard fought decisions. UCA gets a nice start to a homestand that will last three more weekends.

UCA got doubles wins in both matches from Nanoka Kazama and Vichitraporn Vimuktananda as well as the pairing of Sumomo Hamanaga and Konomi Miyakawa. Those wins secured the early point for UCA and set the tone in both matches. The Bears also got a boost in the form of two wins from Nanoka Kazama and Sumomo Hamanaga, and a victory from Konomi Miyakawa in the second match helped secure the victory for UCA. The Bears found a way to get over the .500 mark ahead of some tough matchups ahead.

UCA will take on Ouachita Baptist and Oral Roberts next Friday, February 24^th. The Bears will take on the Tigers at 10:00 a.m. and the Golden Eagles at 1:30.
