Aletheas Page Gaccion was named Freshman of the Year, 2nd team All-ASUN and to the All-ASUN Freshman team. Gudrun Thorsteinsdottir was named to the All-ASUN 3rd team. The Women's Golf team played in the ULM Invitational on Monday and Tuesday this week. The event took place at the Bayou Desiard Country Club in Monroe, La. The Bears played two rounds on Monday and one round on Tuesday in this stroke play event. 14 teams including 84 golfers competed in the event. The Bears finished in 10th place. The Bears played 2 rounds on the 16th and 1 round on the 18th in this three-round stroke play event. The Bears shot their best score in round 3 with +11. Overall, the Bears finishing in 6th place out of 14 teams with a score of +51, the winning team shot +29. The Bears made 162 pars (2nd) and 23 birdies (7th). After round 1 the Bears were tied for first place, after round 2 the Bears were in second. Then in round 3 the Bears had the best round in the field but couldn't catch Georgia State, finishing three strokes back. Overall, the Bears shot +16 for the event finishing in 2nd place. The Bears made 160 pars (2nd), 32 birdies (5th) and 1 eagle (3rd).
