MEMPHIS, Tenn. _ Senior Markus Schweikert got the University of Central Arkansas cross country season off on the right foot Saturday with an individual victory at the Brooks Memphis Twilight XC Classic at the Mike Rose Complex.
   Schweikert won the 4-mile race in a time of 20:00.03. Freshman Thomas Cain finished sixth in a time of 20:24.64, while junior Jaron Hamilton was 13th in 20:46.02.
   UCA finished fourth overall out of 19 teams. The Bears also got a 37th place from senior Brock Collins (21:23.92), a 44th place from senior Alonzo Pollum (21:33.23), a 47th place from freshman Hunter Henderson (21:36.62) and a 64th place from freshman Camden Shaw (22:16.91). UCA freshman Brett Borchert finished 75th (22:18.93), freshman Ian Kelly was 87th (22:31.31) and freshman Tate Whaley was 104th (22:55.11).  Â
   UCA's men's and women's cross country squads will host their annual UCA Cross Country Challenge on Saturday morning at Lake Beaverfork Park just north of Conway at 8:45 a.m. (women) and 9:20 a.m. (men).   Â
