UCA TEAMS COMPETE WELL AT KANSAS RELAYS

    LAWRENCE, Kan. _ The University of Central Arkansas track and field teams turned in several Top 10 school mark over the weekend at the 2017 Kansas Relays.

    Rachel Durler posted the second-best mark in school history in the javelin with a throw of 132-4 to finish eighth. On the men's side, Darius Herl went 193-6 and finished sixth. 
    
    Ajaj Criner's 24.54 in the women's 200 meters, the fifth best time in school history. Olivia Groeber finished fifth in the pole vault with the third-best height in school history at 11-9.75, with Sara Calhoun close behind at 11-3.75.

    Abby Foreman's 39:59.24 in the 10,000 meters was the ninth best at UCA. Taylor Dunn's 11:42.15 in the 3,000 steeplechase was ninth in school history.

    Zachary Jewell turned in a 10.36 in the men's 100 meters, the third-best time at UCA, good for second place. He also had the 10th best time in school history in the 200 meters (21.36). James Lassiter finished fourth in the 110 hurdles in a time of 14.38 (3rd best at UCA). 

    UCA competes next at the Memphis Invitational this weekend.
