UCA TAKES 11 FIRSTS AT CENTRAL ARKANSAS SPRING OPENER
   CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Arkansas men's and women's track and field teams recorded 11 first-place finishes at Friday's Central Arkansas Spring Opener at the Bill Stephens Track and Hendrix College's Young-Wise Memorial Stadium.
   UCA junior Brant Cook completed the double with wins in both the 1,500 meters (3:59.31) and the 800 meters (1:56.77). Junior Eric Moore won the high jump with a height of 6-8.75. Senior Sharad Mackey jumped 22-1.75 to win the long jump, while senior James Lassiter took the 110M hurdles (15:07). Junior Alonzo Pollum won the 5,000 meters in a time of 15:16.26. Â
   On the women's side, the team of Victoria Campfield, Jasmine Richard, Aliyah Robinson and Samantha Ellis won the 4x400 relay in a time of 4:00.71. Freshman Ajah Criner took first in the 200 meters (25.36) and junior Rachel Durler was first in the javelin (130-8.50). Junior Logan Morton finished first in the long jump at 18-5, while sophmore Hannah Noble was first in the high jump (5-3).
   UCA competes next in the Rhodes College Invite next weekend in Memphis, Tenn.
