LAWRENCE, Kan. _ The University of Central Arkansas men's and women's track teams equaled or set four school records on Friday at the Kansas Jayhawk Classic.

   UCA freshman Olivia Groeber broke her own record in the pole vault set less than a week ago, going 12-02.75 to finish fourth. Three runners _ senior Samantha Gibson, sophomore Victoria Campfield and junior Samantha Ellis _ all broke the school record in the 600-yard run, led by Gibson's time of 1:27.16.
   Junior Daniel Lawson also set the men's 600-yard record with a first-place time of 1:14.45. Freshman Zachary Jewell equaled his school in the 60 meters set last week, running a 6.91.Â
   Freshman Marcel Keeton fnished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8:24, the second-best time in school history. Freshman Alex Hanson was third in the 1,000 meters in 2:29.75, also the second-best UCA time in history. Sophomore Alejandra Ruiz ran a 3:10.45 _ second-best time in UCA history _ to finish seventh in the 1,000 meters. She also finished fourth in the mile run (5:16.97). Sophomore Sara Shaw had the second-fastest time in UCA history in the 1,000 meters (3:11.72) and finished second.
   Brock Collins was second in the men's 3,000 meters (9:00.60), while Brigette Caruthers was fourth in the mile (5:29.83) and Sara Shaw fifth (5:33.61). Marcus Johnson finished fourth in the 400 meters (52.79) and SheBria Byrd was second in the 400 (1:00.21). Ajah Criner was second in the 200 meters (26.38) and Jamaris Stephen was fourth (26.48).
   Logan Morton was second in the long jump (18-04.50), the sixth-best jump in school history, while Hannah Noble finished fifth in the high jump (5-04.25), tied for the ninth-best height in school history. Eric Moore won the high jump at 6-08.25.
