CONWAY, Ark. _ Two University of Central Arkansas runners were named All-Southland Conference honorable mentions on Thursday after finishing in the top 15 and leading UCA to a fifth-place finish at the 2013 Southland Conference Cross Country Championships last week.

Gerber, a senior from Hot Springs, finished 11th for the Bears in a time of 25:43.3 over the 8K course. Limo, a senior from Eldoret, Kenya, was 13th in a time of 25:47.6.

UCA's fifth-place finish tied its highest since moving to NCAA Division I and into the Southland Conference in 2006.

The Bears will run again in the NCAA South Central Regional next weekend in Waco, Texas.
