CONWAY, Ark. _ The University of Central Bears took a break from practice Thursday afternoon for photos and interviews at the annual Football Media/Photo Day at First Security Field at Estes Stadium.

   The Bears, coming off a 9-4 season, which featured a trip to the second round of the NCAA Division I Playoffs last season, are 12 practices into fall camp in preparation for their season opener at Ole Miss on Sept. 1.

   UCA is set for its second scrimmage at 3:45 Saturday at Estes Stadium.

   "Fall camp has gone well,' said UCA head coach Clint Conque, 'but we have a lot of work still in front of us before we head to Oxford, Miss., to take on an SEC team on Sept. 1. The attitude and the effort has been good from just about everyone and we're working hard.'

   UCA's first home game of the season will be Sept. 15 against Bacone College. UCA will have the grand opening of the 12 skyboxes during a pregame ceremony.
